Burglars hit store four times in Jan.; What would you do?

A story set in Allentown, Pa., describes the trials of a shopkeeper whose store -- a downtown eye center -- has been hit by burglars four times this month. Give it a read and tell us what you'd do if you were the shopkeeper.

From an article in The Morning Call:

Police were called to the business twice on New Year's weekend, once for a broken window and once for a burglary. When Dalton returned from the holiday weekend, an inventory showed that he was missing several fancy frames -- Dolce & Gabbana, Versace and others, he said.
Allentown police were called back Jan. 9 and officers found one of the front windows smashed and another that appeared to have been pried open. Police found several empty display cases.
Dalton boarded up those windows but didn't bother replacing them, fearing another burglary, which turned out to be a wise decision. On Sunday night, a window was broken and pulled out of its frame. The would-be burglar was scared off by a witness.
Work crews have since boarded up all windows, even ones that weren't damaged. Dalton said he doesn't know what to do next.

So if you were the shopkeeper, what would you do? Post a 24-hour guard? Move the shop? Lobby the mayor until there was a bigger police presence near your store Something else?
