Four hearings for Elias Abuelazam

By The Associated Press

It will be a long day in court for the man accused of a series of stabbings in Michigan's Genesee County.

There are four hearings scheduled Thursday for Elias Abuelazam, all involving charges of attempted murder in and around Flint earlier this year.

A judge must determine if there's probable cause to send him to trial.

Abuelazam already has been ordered to face one murder trial. Two more probable-cause hearings on murder charges are planned for Friday and Dec. 16.

Abuelazam was captured on Aug. 11 in Atlanta while trying to fly to his native Israel. He's also charged with attempted murder in Toledo, Ohio, and is suspected in attacks in Leesburg, Va.
