Man arrested for 154th time
A man who was recently charged with stealing beer from a store in Maine has been arrested for the 154th time, according to this report:
Paul Baldwin, 49, who told police he lives on Brewster Street, was charged with theft and for outstanding warrants for failing to appear in court for theft, said Chief Ed Strong. Baldwin was taken into custody after surveillance images showed him stealing two 18-packs and a 12-pack of beer, Strong said.
He's being held in York County Jail because he was unable to post bail, and is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 9, according to the police chief.
In June 2009, Portsmouth police arrested Baldwin for the 153rd time, a week after he completed a one-year jail sentence for stealing a $1.99 can of beer.
