Man who fled Del. courthouse has area ties, police say

Delaware officials say an 18-year-old man with ties to the District slipped out of his handcuffs and escaped from the courthouse in Dover.

Officials say Terrence Trottman was sentenced by Kent County Court of Common Pleas for violation of probation on Monday and was waiting to be taken to the Vaughn Correctional Center near Smyrna when he escaped.

Officials believe Trottman has ties to Dover, Smyrna and Washington, D.C. and say he is considered dangerous.

Police are asking anyone with information about his whereabouts to call police.

Amazing how many young men specialize in self-destruction & criminal activity. Gonna be nothing but trouble for the police, the courts & the prison for the rest of his life. Of course I could be wrong... :-)
