N.Y. cabbie helps nab suspects

A cab driver’s cell phone video of a brutal attack at a Long Island, N.Y., train station helped police nab the suspects.

The video captured a man being beaten and robbed by a group of men he approached for change at the Valley Stream station.

Jean Cadet was sitting in his taxi Monday night when he witnessed the man being knocked to the ground and kicked. He said he didn’t intervene because he was outnumbered but taped the attack because “it was so brutal.”

Nassau County police arrested two men and charged them with robbery.

The victim was treated for bruises at a hospital.
