Police to discuss serial rapist at afternoon conference

Police officials will discuss a serial rapist who has worked the eastern seaboard at 1 p.m. Wednesday, the department said in a press release.
Prince William Police Chief Charlie T. Deane and Fairfax County Chief David M. Rohrer are among the officials scheduled to speak.
The serial rapist is said to have targeted "several jurisdictions" on the East Coast between 1997 and 2009, according to the release.
