Video: Face-slapping granny spends night in jail
A 73-year old Florida grandmother spent a night in jail after slapping her 18-year-old granddaughter across the face during an argument over homework. The teen called police, but prosecutors have dropped the charges.

Go Granny Go!! And if she does it again slap her again and this time put her out let her call the cops from a pay phone. This is what is wrong with teens today not enough slappin going on. The police need to be fired for putting the 73old woman through some non-sense such as that in her house some ppl don't know there wrong cause he would have never got in my house without a search warrant...Plus by doing that only encourages youth to disrepect and have the law to bad them in their wrong doing...NOT GOOD!!! You have to respect your elders and cause trust me the other way around if she said that F word to the cop they would have beat her good behind close door with nothing to prove it so Please spare me the domestic violence!!!

I cannot believe they arrested this woman...first of all the granddaughter was very disrespectful to begin with and if she were mine i would have slapped her as well.... I know this grandma feels horrible having to deal with this but i am glad she is sticking by her principles... I am in no way an advocate for abuse and believe that it is in fact a serious issue...but come on....the granddaughter is more than likely living off of grandma...who i bet is footing every bill and she has a nerve to curse her..... well sweetheart you're lucky all you got was slapped across the face because at 18 you very well could be facing your own bout of homelessness ... Go Grandma!!! I for one am pleased they dropped all charges!!!
