Woman claims lost purse, gets busted for cocaine in it

A woman who went to the police station to pick up a missing purse was arrested for the cocaine that was in it, according to this report:

She left her bag in a pub last November and, despite knowing there were drugs inside, decided to collect it from lost property.

A police insider said: "It seems not to have crossed her mind that the first thing we do with a bag which is handed in is have a good look through it.

"There was a small bag of cocaine and no one expected the owner to ask for it back."
