2 men shot dead in Baltimore

Baltimore police are investigating the shooting deaths of two men around the same time in separate sections of the city.

Police say 28-year-old Isaiah White was shot in the back and chest around 4:30 a.m. Sunday and died a short time later at a hospital.

Investigators are following leads in the case. Police say White was involved in an argument downtown that likely continued into the northwest Baltimore neighborhood where he was shot.

At 4:43 a.m. Sunday, police found 25-year-old George Lewis suffering from a gunshot wound to the head in northeast Baltimore. He died at a hospital.

Police have no suspects in Lewis' death.

There have been 156 homicides in Baltimore this year, down from 166 on this date last year.
