5 stabbed in Md. prison fight

By the Associated Press

A Maryland corrections spokesman says five inmates were stabbed during a fight at a Baltimore prison.

Corrections spokesman Rick Binetti says no officers were injured and none of the injuries to the inmates, who were taken to area hospitals, were considered life-threatening.

The fight broke out around 4:30 p.m. at a dorm in the Metropolitan Transition Center, a minimum security wing of the state prison.
