Drugs, guns seized at Md. car wash
Baltimore police say officers seized more than two pounds of cocaine, weapons and a 24-foot powerboat in a raid at a car wash that was a front for drug dealers.
During the raid at Celebrities Car Wash on Reisterstown Road on Tuesday, police say they found a brick of cocaine and $4,000 in cash in a hidden compartment of a table that could be opened only by placing two magnets on top.
Elsewhere they found five handguns, a MAC-11 pistol and a shotgun.
Police took at least five vehicles and the boat and charged four people with drug offenses.
Police say they might turn the case over to federal prosecutors and begin asset forfeiture proceedings to keep the vehicles.
Tips from residents prompted detectives to place the business under surveillance.
