Body found near Branch Ave. Metro station
A man's body was found Sunday in Temple Hills along the Suitland Parkway, not far from the Branch Avenue Metro station, police said.
Maryland medical examiners were trying to identify the man and determine the cause of death, said Sgt. David Schlosser, a U.S. Park Police spokesman.
The body was found south of the Suitland Parkway along the tree line, he said. The area is on National Park Service property.
