Alert issued for missing Calvert man
Maryland State Police issued a silver alert Wednesday evening shortly after 8 p.m., notifying drivers throughout the state and police throughout the country that a 72-year-old Calvert County man with cognitive impairment has been missing since Tuesday at 4 p.m.
The man, identified as Herbert Alphonse Tucker III, was last seen leaving his home in Calvert County driving a red 2006 Chevy Silverado pickup with an extended cab.
Tucker, described as a white male, 6 feet 3 inches tall, 270 pounds, with gray and brown hair, has "extensive" medical issues as well as cognitive impairment, said Maryland State Police 1st Sgt. Russell Newell. Tucker's disappearance poses a danger to his health and safety, Newell said.
Anyone with any information should contact the Calvert County Sheriff's Department at 410-535-2800.
