Gun-wielding robber hits Calvert County bank
Sometimes bank surveillance photos aren't so clear. Not so with a recent one from Calvert County, which shows a man brandishing a handgun.
The suspect hit a Maryland Bank and Trust branch in Solomons shortly before 10 a.m. Thursday, according to a Maryland State Police news release.

The suspect. (Calvert County Sheriff's Office)
The suspect is described as a white male, about 6 feet tall with a medium build, believed to be 25 to 35 years old.
He was wearing a neck-warmer, perhaps with a camouflage pattern, that hid his face.

He fled on foot with money from the bank, according to authorities.
Anyone who can identify the suspect in the picture, or knows anything about the incident, is asked to call Trooper First Class Ewig of the Calvert County Investigative Team at 410-535-1600, ext. 2596.
