Woman, 79, escapes from attacker in Waldorf
A forensic artist in Charles County has drawn a composite sketch depicting a man authorities say assaulted a 79-year-old woman who was walking her dog in Waldorf.
The woman and her dog were in the area of Tommy Middleton Lane near Forest Road about 9:50 a.m. May 4 when the man came up from behind and grabbed her arm, according to the Charles County Sheriff's Office.

The woman struggled with the suspect and eventually pulled away, running to a nearby house for help, authorities said. The suspect fled on foot.
Authorities described him as a white man in his 40s, with light-colored hair that appeared to have been bleached.
He also had a "ruddy or red complexion," officials said. At the time of the assault, he wore a khaki-colored, long-sleeved shirt.
Anyone with information is asked to call Detective J. Elliott at 301-609-6515. Those with information can also call 1-866-411-TIPS.
