Man jumps from SE apartment after finding body inside
A man leaped from the third-floor of a Southeast D.C. apartment Thursday after discovering a dead body inside, authorities said.
Few details were immediately available, but authorities responded to the 4200 block of 4th Street SE about 3:30 p.m, said Lt Nick Bruel, a police spokesman. He did not know the age, gender and condition of the person who jumped. But a DC Fire/EMS spokesman said it was a male in his late teens or early 20s. He is still alive and being taken to a hospital, the spokesman said.
No details were released about the body inside, but police are classifying the case as a suspicious death, Bruel said.
