Police investigate shooting in Northwest D.C.
D.C. police are investigating the shooting of a man who walked to a gas station in Northwest Washington and said he had been shot, officials said.
Police were called to a gas station in the 400 block of Rhode Island Avenue just before 4 p.m., said Lt. Nick Bruel, a police spokesman.
The victim was found by officers with what is thought to be a gunshot wound to the back. He was conscious and breathing, Bruel said.
Police were trying to determine where the man was shot and the circumstances that led to the incident.
