Help sought identifying Md. burglar

By David P. Marino-Nachison

Montgomery County police have released surveillance photos of a man they say robbed two Gaithersburg businesses.

Officers responded to the Dollar Tree Store in the Off Price Shopping Center at 18258 Contour Rd. at 8:22 a.m. on Oct. 31 after a report of a commercial burglary. While they were there, the manager of the Little Caesar's Pizza nearby reported another burglary.

Their investigation indicated that a man broke into both businesses about 1 a.m. He took cash and merchandise and fled, police said.

Police described the man as Hispanic, 20 to 25 years old, 5 feet 4 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a medium build, light goatee and short brown hair. He was wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 240-773-6237 or 301-279-8000.
