Unable to purchase it, three men steal beer from CVS
There are probably many people who can sympathize with this problem: You go into a Virginia convenience store after midnight looking to buy beer and you're told you're out of luck. Though the beer is sitting right there, they can't sell it to you because of state law.
A clerk at a CVS in Dale City told three men that very thing at 1:50 a.m. on Tuesday when they came inside and grabbed cases of beer. Instead of putting them down after being told they couldn't purchase it, one of the men pulled out a handgun while the other two ran out of the store with the beer. The clerk was not injured.
Prince William County police are looking for the three men, who were captured on surveillance video as they entered the store at 4338 Dale Boulevard. They are all described as black men, ages 20-25, approximately 5-foot-10, with medium builds.
Anyone with information about the armed robbery is asked to call Prince William County Crime Solvers at 703-670-3700 or 866-411-TIPS. Callers can leave tips anonymously and could be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
