Body found in Potomac River

Officers from the Maryland Natural Resources Police found a body in the Potomac River about 8 a.m. Thursday in the area where a boat sank Tuesday night, officials said.
Police are working to confirm if the body is that of Daniel Ray Myers, of King George, Va., who had been on the boat, which went under in a part of the river south of Washington, said Sgt. Art Windemuth, a spokesman for the Maryland Natural Resources Police.
More information is expected later Thursday.
