Phone store worker bound, robbed

Montgomery County police converged on a T-Mobile mobile phone store in Rockville Tuesday afternoon after an employee there reported being bound during an armed robbery about 1:30 p.m., a police spokesman said.
At least one suspect entered the store, in the area of Randolph Road and Parklawn Drive, police said. The victim said she was tied up and her eyes were covered with tape, police said.
According to preliminary information, the suspect or suspects stole a purse, cash and equipment from the store. The victim said that while her eyes were covered, she heard other people in the store, suggesting there was more than one person involved in the heist.
