Arrest in Nov. 5 Southeast D.C. killing
A 20-year-old man has been arrested and charged in a Nov. 5 homicide in Southeast D.C., police said.
Jerome Bailey, of no fixed address, was charged with first-degree murder while armed in the death of Rico Matthews, 36, D.C. police said in a Tuesday press release.
Officers responding to the 4000 block of First Street SE around 2 p.m. found Matthews suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
He died at an area hospital, police said.
