Man in yellow hard hat robs Fairfax bank
A man wearing a bright yellow hardhat robbed a Fairfax County bank Tuesday morning, county police said.
The man entered the TD Bank at 6615 Richmond Hwy., told a teller he had a weapon and demanded money, police said in a news release. The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and the man fled.
Nobody was hurt during the robbery, according to police.

The man was described as black, in his 30s or 40s, and about 5 feet 6 inches, with a medium build. Police said he was wearing a dark sweatshirt and blue jeans along with the yellow hat.
