New police chief for Delaware beach resort town
Lewes officials have named Dover Police Chief Jeffrey Horvath the new chief in the resort town.
The 46-year-old Horvath has been Dover's chief since 2001. He will succeed Ronald "Beau" Gooch.
Gooch, who announced his retirement in December, has stayed until a replacement to take over.
Horvath will start his new job on April 12.
