D.C. man charged in Christmas slaying
A District man was indicted in D.C. Superior Court Friday on nine counts including first-degree murder while armed in connection with a fatal Christmas day shooting last year.
Authorities say Marlo Garcias, 21, of the 1600 block of Park Road NW, fatally shot Miguel Romero at approximately 4:50 a.m. Dec. 25 while attending a Christmas celebration at a rooming house at 5401 4th St. NW.
According to charging documents, Garcias got into an argument with Romero over the music being played at the celebration. Garcias also allegedly groped Romero’s girlfriend.
Garcias also shot two other party goers who survived. Garcias trial is scheduled for April before Judge Lynn Leibovitz.

You're ignorant. God forbid you show sympathy for the dead man or his family. And God forbid you acknowledge that non-blacks murder, rape and steal also.

Keith, Is Garcias an illegal? What is his immigration status? That would be "news" you know (just pointing it out in case you haven't read WaPo for ohhh last two days). Or are you not allowed to report this? If so, who doesn't allow it?
