Md. man's body found in Potomac near Harpers Ferry
Police say the body of a fisherman from Gaithersburg has been found along the Maryland bank of the Potomac River near Sandy Hook.
Maryland Natural Resources Police say 37-year-old Daniel Figueroa is believed to have drowned Saturday, when he was swept into the White Horse rapids while trying to swim to a large boulder.
Police say family members found the body Tuesday morning while searching the area across the river from Harpers Ferry, W.Va.
