Fairfax City man found not guilty in rape case

A Fairfax County Circuit Court jury Thursday found a Fairfax City man not guilty of raping a 16-year-old girl in his home.

Hugo Alfredo Rivera-Maravilla, 28, was arrested in April after the girl reported that she had attended a party at Rivera-Maravilla’s house in the 4000 block of Poplar Street, fell asleep there and awoke to find a man sexually assaulting her. Police interviewed the girl at Inova Fairfax Hospital, where she had gone for treatment, then met with Rivera-Maravilla at their headquarters and arrested him.

At trial, Rivera-Maravilla testified that he did not know how he wound up in bed with the girl or why his DNA was found on her upper body. The jury deliberated for more than a day before returning its verdict late Thursday.

Someone should tell the post what "more" means. They apparently think it means to show the same story word for word from the previous page. Nothing extra, just the same words.
Give the post a dictionary.....
