Accused molester extradited to Fairfax
A Fairfax County day care worker accused of sexually assaulting a toddler is being held in the Fairfax County Jail on a sodomy charge after being extradited Friday from New York.

Siyamand Salehzadeh, 22, of the 7700 block of Lavenham Court in Manassas, had been detained on a warrant as he attempted to enter Canada Sept. 25, Fairfax police said.
He was arrested in connection with an alleged incident Sept. 21 in which police investigated a sexual assault report of a 4-year-old at the Minnieland day care center on Compton Village Drive in the Centreville area.
