Authorities removed 28 dead animals from Fairfax home
Fairfax County officials today released a count of the animals found at the home of Megan Barber, 33, who Tuesday was charged by summons with animal cruelty and being an unfit animal owner.
Authorities yesterday removed more than two dozen live cats, nine birds, five dogs, three guinea pigs, a rabbit and hamster from the house, according to a press release, which also said 28 dead animals were removed from the house on the 3400 block of Ramsgate Terrace.
