Herndon man Jamie Kuhne indicted in wife's killing
A Herndon man who allegedly killed his wife and then placed her body inside a suitcase was indicted by a Fairfax County grand jury Tuesday for murder.
Police allege that Jamie A. Kuhne, 34, strangled his wife, Minghua Zheng, 36, during an argument inside their apartment early Dec. 11.
Later that morning, Kuhne took the couple’s 1-year-old son to day care, then drove to the Herndon police headquarters, turned himself in and told police where to find his wife’s body.
Herndon police officers said in a preliminary hearing in January that Kuhne provided a full statement about what happened and was remorseful. He is being held in the Fairfax jail without bond.
