Man found dead in Fairfax fire

The body of an adult male was discovered inside a burning camper trailer Thursday morning in the Newington area of Fairfax County, Fairfax fire officials said.
The man has not been identified yet. The camper was parked near the intersection of Terminal Road and Day Street, near the Newington Commerce Center just east of Interstate 95, fire spokesman Dan Schmidt said.
The fire was reported about 6:40 a.m., and the blaze in the 12-foot camper was quickly extinguished. There were no immediate signs that the fire was set or otherwise suspicious, Schmidt said, but both fire marshals and police detectives are investigating.
