Sexual assault in Franconia: Police
Fairfax County detectives are investigating the sexual assault of a woman who was standing at a bus stop at La Vista Drive and Franconia Road around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, police said.
While she waited for a bus, the 23-year-old woman told police, a heavy-set man between 25 and 40 years old wearing a t-shirt and tan cargo pants approached her from behind, grabbed and assaulted her.
The victim was transported to INOVA Fairfax Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
