Murder charges after Md. death, fire
Howard County police say they have charged a man with killing his ex-wife and setting her apartment on fire.
Police said Wednesday that they have charged 34-year-old Damon Willie White with murder and arson.
White was injured in the incident and is currently being guarded by police at a hospital. He is in critical but stable condition.
Investigators believe White fatally stabbed 35-year-old Thelma Wynn while temporarily staying at her home and then set fire to the apartment. No one else was injured.
