1 dead, 3 hurt after Frederick-area shooting

By The Associated Press

The Frederick County Sheriff's Office says one person is dead and three are hurt after a shooting south of Frederick.

Capt. Tim Clarke says the three injured people were flown Thursday morning to the University of Maryland Medical Center's shock trauma unit in Baltimore.

"We do believe this is domestic, that all the victims are related and of the same household," Frederick County Sheriff's Cpl. Jennifer Bailey told WTOP.

The incident involved two men and two women, according to WTOP's report; one of the men is dead. None of them have yet been identified.

Police have closed a section of Ballenger Creek Pike for the investigation.

They are asking people to avoid Ballenger Creek Pike between Mountville Road and Doubs Road until the investigation is complete.

This either the case against in-breeding, or wife swapping.

Nah. In-breeding and wife swapping are West Virginia regional activities. Beer and Nascar are entertainment found in Fredneck. Someone must have drank all of his brother's Milwaukee Best.

Exercising their Second Amendment rights to fight against government tyranny, obviously.

How does anyone find humor in this story? One person dead; three others shot.

Just out of curiosity! Where are all of the racial comments that flooded the PG County homicides’ blog?

The art of "swinging" gone wrong. I guess one of the men didn't understand what he was getting into.

@dmcclure05: Racial comments for what?

Posted by: Jsuf | January 13, 2011 4:13 PM | Report abuse

@Jsuf… you are completely proving my point! Why are all the racial comments necessary when someone is murdered in DC or PG County, but not Fredrick County? Oh, or could it be that most bigots spew their racial views when they notice it’s a certain demographic area pertaining to Blacks and Hispanics???
