By the Frederick (Md.) News-Post

A Frederick man has been sentenced to 30 years in prison for sexually abusing a girl in the 1990s.

Seventy-four-year-old Donald Webb was sentenced Tuesday in Frederick County Circuit Court.

He pleaded guilty to three counts of child abuse by a custodian.

According to court documents, the victim told a Maryland State Police detective the sexual abuse occurred from the time she was 9 until she left home at 18.

She said in court on Tuesday that Webb ruined her life.
