Frederick Co. barn fire kills 114 cows
The Frederick County Fire Marshal's Office says 114 cows have been killed by a barn fire near Woodsboro.
Fire Marshal Mike Dmuchowski says the fire occurred Sunday afternoon in the 10200 block of Oak Hill Road.
He says 174 cows were inside the barn when the fire started and only about 60 made it out.
He estimates the damage to the barn at $750,000.
Dmuchowski says the blaze remains under investigation.
