Man, 31, shot dead in Frederick
Frederick police say a 31-year-old Frederick man is dead following an early Sunday morning shooting.
Police say officers responding to a report of shots fired about 3:20 a.m. Sunday found a man suffering from what appeared to be a single gunshot wound to the abdomen.
The man, who was later identified at 31-year-old William Joseph Goines Jr., was taken to Frederick Memorial Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
