Man in critical after Frederick crash

By David P. Marino-Nachison

A Jeep with a snow plow owned by the the City of Frederick Parks and Recreation Division hit a man crossing the street early Monday morning, Frederick police said.

Three people were crossing W. Patrick St. around 3 a.m., according to police.

The pedestrians were not in a crosswalk, police said, and didn't see the Jeep coming in their direction.

The driver of the Jeep didn't see the pedestrians either, and one -- a 19-year-old man -- was flown to Baltimore Shock Trauma, where he is in critical condition.
