Police: Robber flees store with cash register
Frederick police have issued an arrest warrant for a suspect in the robbery of a downtown convenience store.
The warrant was issued Monday for 39-year-old Aaron Rupert.
Police say he robbed the store early Sunday.
Police say Rupert entered the store armed with a knife, jumped over the counter and tried to open the cash register. Police say when he couldn't get the register open, he fled the store with it.
