Video game heist at Frederick Wal-Mart

By The Frederick (Md.) News-Post

Frederick police say two shoplifters trying to steal video games escaped after one pulled a knife on a store employee.

It happened Saturday about 5 p.m. at the Wal-Mart on Monocacy Boulevard.

Police say a woman removed video games from displays and put them in a bag under the shelf. A man grabbed the games from under the shelf, put them in a shopping cart and head toward the front of the store.

An employee confronted the men, but he pulled out a knife and threatened the employee before leaving the store.

The pair fled in a silver SUV.

Comments

I'm thinking a description of their vehicle and the suspects might actually make this a news story.
