10 years for Md. man in drug case
Federal prosecutors say a Fort Washington man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for distributing crack and cocaine.
Forty-five-year-old Peter Purvis Jr. was sentenced on Monday in U.S. District Court in Greenbelt.
According to his guilty plea, Purvis was part of a Suitland-based drug trafficking organization.
He admitted to being responsible for distributing between 11 and 33 pounds of cocaine.

so ten years in jail for 33 pounds of coke that could of killed a dozen people and ruined the lives of a hundred.
so how many years in jail for the sellers of tobbaco products that kill 400,000 americans a year, and in turn ruins the lives of millions?
