Fla. pair in court on charges they sold drugs in Md.
Two Florida men are in federal court in Maryland on charges they sold marijuana in Maryland, federal officials said Tuesday.
Pierre Smith, who also goes by “P,” 37, of Coconut Beach, and Clifton Domond, 31, of Mirmar, were indicted by a federal grand jury in U.S. District Court in Greenbelt on charges including conspiracy to distribute 100 kilograms or more of marijuana and distributing marijuana.
The drugs had a street value of at least $8 million, officials said.
Court documents say that between July 2007 to March 22, 2010, the defendants traveled to Florida, Maryland and other places to sell more than 220 pounds of marijuana.
