Md. trial for man in mother's death
The trial of a Pennsylvania man accused of killing his mother by running her over with a car has begun in Worcester County, Md.
A jury of eight women and four men are expected to hear testimony Wednesday in the first-degree murder case of Steven Fredrick Molin of Darby, Pa.
Molin was charged after allegedly running over his 85-year-old mother, Emily Belle Molin, on a rural Worcester road in August.
Molin has maintained his innocence. Charging documents say he called 911 to report the incident as an accident.
