Probation for Md. woman who assaulted boy, 15
A New Market woman is on probation for a year after pleading guilty to assaulting a 15-year-old boy who was involved in a fight with her daughter.
Forty-year-old Alice Frishkorn entered the plea to second-degree assault Wednesday in Frederick County District Court. She was granted probation before judgment, which means there will be no record of conviction.
Frishkorn met the victim at Linganore High School in September while both were waiting to talk to administrators about an attack on her 13-year-old daughter. She acknowledged
shoving the boy's face with her hand after learning he was involved.
Prosecutors called it a slap.
The judge ordered Frishkorn to complete anger-management class and to have no further contact with the boy.
