2 arrested in Northeast D.C. slaying
Two suspects have been arrested in the killing of a 47-year-old Northeast Washington man, D.C. police said.
Daquan Johnson, 18, and a 16-year-old male whom police did not identify, were charged with murder this week 2/16 and 2/15 respectively in the death of Carlos B. Alexander.
Police went to the 700 block of 21st Street NE about 7 a.m. on Feb..3 and found Alexander lying unconscious in front of an apartment building.
The medical examiner’s office ruled Feb..12 that Alexander had died of blunt force trauma and that his death was a homicide. Alexander lived in the 400 block of 53rd Street NE.
