Arrest in D.C. woman's April death
Police have made an arrest in the April killing of a Northwest D.C. woman.
Victoria Romaine, 30, is accused of assaulting 32-year-old Juliet Avents on April 4.
Two days later, police said, Avents was found unconscious in the 1300 block of Clifton Street and pronounced dead after being transported to a hospital.
Police say Avents died from injuries suffered in the earlier attack.
Romaine, of Oxon Hill, was arrested Thursday morning.
