Arrest in June Md. slaying
Prince George's County police arrested a Bladensburg man Sunday in connection with the June slaying of a Capitol Heights teenager who died days after he was assaulted walking home from the Addison Road Metro station, authorities said.
Devin Reginald Burgess, 23, was charged with second-degree murder in the death of Christopher William Moody, 17, who was assaulted in the early morning hours of June 26, authorities said. Police said the assault stemmed from a personal dispute between the two.
Moody was transported to the hospital after the assault, and he died on June 29, authorities have said.
