Arrests in June Montgomery stabbing

By Mary Pat Flaherty

Two men are jailed in Montgomery County on first-degree murder charges in the June 7 stabbing of Felipe Armando Flores Giron.

Giron, 25, was found in front of his apartment building in the 800 block of University Boulevard East in the Piney Branch area of Silver Spring. Police spokeswoman Lucille Baur said at least one of the suspects knew Giron and the stabbing evolved from a "verbal argument."

It was not known what provoked the argument, she said.

Arrested Wednesday was Jose Juan Torres-Benitez, 32, also known as Juan Ramos-Torres, whose address police have not been able to confirm.

Also arrested was Edgar A. Romero Ventura, 30, of the 800 block of University Boulevard East, Silver Spring.

Flores Giron was found wounded in an alley outside his apartment at about 1 a.m. June 7 and later died at a local hospital.

More "New Americans" for our Governor. Anybody in favor of ending this sanctuary city garbage before more are killed?
