Man shot in Northeast is D.C.'s first post-blizzard homicide victim
In the first slaying in the District since before the winter wallop began Feb. 5, a 33-year-old man was fatally shot Monday night in Northeast Washington, police said.
The victim, identified as Michael Dean Roy Talley, of no fixed address, was found dead about 11:30 p.m. at an apartment building in the 900 block of 48th Street NE, police said. He is the city’s first homicide victim since a man was found fatally beaten Feb. 3 in the 700 block of 21st Street NE.
Talley’s killing remains under investigation, police said.
