Police identify man killed in Temple Hills

By Kevin Sieff

The Prince George's County police released the name of a 24-year-old man who was fatally shot outside a Temple Hills meeting hall early Saturday morning.

Brandon E. Baswell of the 2900 block of Pennsylvania Avenue SE was shot about 3:30 a.m., just after a concert by the TCB Band, a popular go-go group, had ended at the Plaza 23 Event Center, Prince George's Cpl. Evan Baxter said.

It was the county's 16th homicide of the year.
